Launch FAQ

What are the system requirements?

I can't really be specific because testing these things is hard without a ton of hardware, but it runs very well on a crappy laptop from almost a decade ago and works perfectly fine on my budget Android phone that's about three years old. In other words, as long as you're not working with total potatoes, you should be just fine. It is not a particularly intensive game in any way.

Will you be porting it to iOS/Mac/Linux/Gameboy/etc?

Very possibly, but no guarantee. Linux is the most likely since it wouldn't require the purchase of any additional hardware. To port to Mac, for example, I would have to buy an used Macbook or some such since the only way to (legally) compile to a Mac is to do it on a Mac.

How long is it?

Depends on how fast you read, how much you enjoy the various vore scenes and replay them, and how many of the game's various secrets and other content you explore. There is a fair few rabbit holes to poke down, so all in all I'd say there's enough here to keep you busy for two or three hours at least, especially if you are a fan of one or more of the vore types on offer.

To give a more literal example, there is about 80,000 words of content in the game. That will take the average reader about 4.4 hours to get through at roughly 300 words per minute. This is without going into gameplay bits/cutscenes/etc. This is assuming that you want to read all the content. For example, you might not like anal vore, so that would cut you out of a few thousand words of content and run that number down a bit.

Will you add content in the future?

Almost certainly. It won't be for a few months at least though.

Are there jumpscares?

Not really. It's more psychological horror than startling horror. I did say not really though so maybe expect one or two tame ones.

Is it worth five bucks?

I think so, yes. I certainly worked hard on it and I am very proud of it.

Ideally I'd release it for free. In fact, this was initially the plan. However, this year has been kinda rough financially, mostly because I had to move place, and mostly because I haven't been taking any kind of commission/other work over the past couple of months while making this and catching up on my queue. Taxes are coming up soon, and I am a little behind on them. This isn't a cry for help or anything - I'll be perfectly fine, don't worry - I'm just not in the best place to release this for free.

I think of it like this - this a Halloween game, a spooky house (sort of), and in today's age getting into a real-life spooky house on Halloween will set you back like, $20 to $50 and it'll only last for five minutes. This one costs $5 and it'll last you several hours. Pretty good deal I think.

Do I need Quest to play it?

I am very happy to say that, no, you don't need Quest to play it. This game was made in Game Maker. Just download the .zip if you're on Windows or the .apk if you're on Android and away you go.

How do I install it on my Android phone?

You need to run the .apk. If your phone stops you from doing this then that's because it's technically an unauthorized app, which means that it isn't from the Google Play Store essentially. You'll need to enable the installation of unauthorised apps to be able to install it then, naturally. This is a super easy process that simply requires toggling a settling on in your phones settings. It varies from device to device, though, so rather than provide a tutorial for every device I'll just say Google it and you'll find an answer super speedy like.

My computer is detecting the game as a virus!

This is a false positive caused by the fact that this is an extremely niche game that isn't going to be played on many computers, which means that a few overzealous anti-virus programs will mark it as a suspicious file. Whitelist it if you have issues and probably whitelist the save file folder below too while you're at it.

Where are the save files located?

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\HungryHouse
